This was a cool check off my bucket list. From my first attempt at making physical music in 2022, I feel really proud of how much I was able to execute the idea for this album booklet I brainstormed back in 2023. My biggest influence on this booklet was the vinyl edition of Saba’s Care For Me in 2018. It made me think more about the different ways of perceiving music through different mediums, while also expanding the world these artist can create with their albums that can’t be replicated by songs on streaming services. I studied a lot of physical music from my favorite artists, and what I could do differently that could better document & expand the world I was trying to create with my album. I’m proud to say I created a vinyl that stands well with the collection of some of my favorite music on wax. I don’t really have an audience but that’s why I’m my own biggest fan. I got to fulfill everything I wanted to do in music and maybe there will be another time where I finally craft that next message & concept I want to execute. But I want it to be a completely new approach and to be executed even better than Ballpark. But it’s okay because I can finally rest. I loved all the time me & my best friend spent crafting these demos and ideas that we knew might never see the public eye, but there’s something so awesome about briefly getting to use your imagination on what these demos could turn into. As a musician, I’m very satisfied right now. Everything I do now is to how I can help enhance the message and vision of other artists. How can we tell your story through the songwriting & production of your album? How can we enhance the world created through your music into tangible objects like clothes & physical music? How can we market a rollout that is authentic for both the artist and their listeners? That’s the role I want to have in the music industry. Me & my best friend have always had different perspectives on how we think music should be presented but I’ve always tried my best to enhance his vision for his music without trying to discredit or dismiss his artistry and ideas. I’ve always trusted my friend when it came to his taste in his music, whether it was through our collaborations or his solo work. Trusting in your own taste is so important in how you can create your own favorite art.

I’m really happy with where I’m at right now, but I’m not content yet. I’ve thought so much about how I want to reach my goal of doing marketing and merchandise for artists in my career, but why not start right now? Everything about Sneeze now is how we can create a fun clothing brand that also does it’s part in showcasing people to new art while getting to hear their story.
